So everything must stand up to lots of cleaning and still look great. I’ve used Downluxe alternative blankets before and they hold up and the satin border gives the blanket a design lift. However, I’ve noticed on my older Downluxe blanket that the backing used to keep the satin strip firm has come away in the corners and I’ve had to open the corner seams to resew the backing in place to maintain the sharp look in the corners.
